Today, April 5, 2019, in the auditorium of Fucape, the Federation of Foundations and Associations of Espírito Santo – Fundaes, launched the “De Olho no Dinheiro” Campaign. 

The campaign aims to inform and mobilize the capixabas on the importance of allocating resources to third sector entities, through tax waivers of the Income Tax.

Through the campaign, it is expected to increase fundraising for numerous social organizations throughout the State, as information is essential to ensure that these resources reach those who need it so much.

The event was attended by affiliates and partners such as Instituto João XXIII, Mile4 Comunicação, Rede Gazeta, Foco, Secri, TCE, Sicoob, 3 é Par Conexões Sustentáveis, Instituto Fucape, Fundação Beneficente Praia do Canto, Instituto Todos os Cantos, Acacci , LS Nogueira, Associação Albergue Martim Luther.

The allocation (part) of the Income Tax Due to social assistance actions for children, adolescents and the elderly does not reach 3% (as far as possible). That is, if all taxpayers from Espírito Santo, individuals and legal entities in ES, allocated, according to the Incentive Laws, the portion of the tax calculated in their Annual Declaration, to projects carried out by Third Sector entities in favor of the neediest population in our country. society, this amount could be around 350 million reais. That's right! And, unfortunately, not even 10 million reais are destined.

This needs to be communicated objectively and clearly to mobilize, guide and raise awareness among taxpayers. This is the purpose of this campaign, we hope to increase fundraising for the areas of social assistance, health, culture, sports, children, adolescents and the elderly.

And also call society to exercise its fiscal citizenship, monitoring and defining the best destination of public resources.

This is a task for many: entities, companies, citizens and public authorities.”
