The Swiss Embassy in Brazil announces that it has credit for financial support for projects in Brazil in 2019. Proposals must be submitted by non-governmental organizations active in Brazil.
Embassy-funded cooperation projects must be in line with Swiss foreign policy objectives, which aim to promote, among others, sustainable development and human rights. The Embassy will finance in this public notice a limited number of projects that focus on waste management Or the urban violence prevention. In this sense, Switzerland's main objective in terms of development and cooperation is to contribute to and improve the living conditions of the most vulnerable populations.
To be eligible, projects must have a maximum duration of 12 months and request funding from R$ 10,000.00 to R$ 50,000.00.
This call will remain open until February 15, 2019. Applications for proposals must be sent to the Swiss Embassy by email brasilia@eda.admin.ch, as form duly completed funding application.
The Embassy will review the projects and inform applicants of whether or not to accept the application. We request that interested NGOs take cognizance of the document “Guidelines for Supporting Non-Governmental Projects 2019” to check in advance whether your proposal meets all the criteria established by the Swiss Embassy.
