The transfer of this sector marks a new phase in pediatric oncology in Espírito Santo. The space offers 26 inpatient beds; 10 day hospital beds (for outpatient care); 14 offices and two chemotherapy cabins. Counta with space for the accommodation of the patients' families and improvement in the physical structure, such as a greater number of bathrooms. 

ACACCI, an institution affiliated with Fundaes, is one of the protagonists of this first step, with contributions of financial resources from the “MC Dia Feliz” campaign – a national action coordinated by the Ronald McDonald Institute (IRM), with the participation of the whole society.

In the words of the Acacci Board of Directors: “Today is the day to celebrate life! a milestone in the history of pediatric oncology in Espírito Santo, the new facilities at HPM, for the onco-hematology service of the HINSG, will guarantee a more dignified reception in the integral care of these children in treatment. Congratulations to everyone who fights for our children every day!!”
